A very loud and rumbly thunderstorm rolled through jefferson city, mo. I set up my zoom h4n with the mics set to 120 degrees to record the storm. Less than a minute after i started recording, a lightning bolt hit just across the street. A lot of loud and rumbly thunder in this audio clip.

I sat up my two cm3-microphones at my porch for recording nature-sounds during 3 hours. Then i went into the house for doing other things. When i was finished i listen thru the recording, than i realised there was a couple gunshot at the recording. I'll publishing the best shot. It's winter on vancouver island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the cowichan river. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level. Recorded in january with a zoom h1 n, audio quality 48,000 hz. Unedited.
